You have probably already seen a peek of this look on my Girlpower post, since I couldn’t resist to take it as a title picture for a manifesto to the power of feminity. Today you can see the whole look with this beautiful very very feminine Ted Baker flower skirt as the outstanding piece. Mostly I’ll shy away from wearing a lot of blush or flower print in Autumn and Winter, since it’s the season of cognacs, reds, greens and blues. But who can withstand this lovely design and the little bees flying all over it? Also the black pumps and bow instantly make the look more wintery.
I will not lie, it was quiet cold that day, so while shooting this look some hot tea was desperately needed. For luck we don’t have to use these ugly old thermal cans anymore but can incorporate beautiful lifestyle accessories such as this Kate Spade tumbler into our life and outfits. I think the whole look seems even more put together and feminine with it. And even though I love fashion a lot, these little lifestyle accessories such as tumblers, mugs, calendars, planners, notebooks or mobile phone cases in pretty designs are what brightens up the odd day. Especially if you are working in an office it’s a nice way to add something of your personal style to your desk and you’ll instantly feel more comfortable and happy.
As you’re maybe able to tell Ted Baker is one of my favourite brands for über feminine looks. After I was wearing this lovely night blue lace dress, I really wanted to build an outfit around their signature flower printed skirts. I’m always looking forward to see the new print each season and they never disappoint me. Right now I’m also loving this blush coat, this emerald green velvet dress and this cute Christmas dog sweater from their Autumn/Winter 16 collection.
