Since about one or two years I’m definitely trying to streamline my wardrobe. That said I always feel better buying classic items rather than too trendy pieces. And the best thing is that I love to wear these items over and over again. It’s easier to choose in the mornings and most important you feel confident and comfortable in your outfit throughout the day.
With temperatures being not that wintery anymore but still not full on Spring appropriate, I’m wearing my classic Trenchcoat nearly everyday. The best thing is that it fits with everything you have in your closet. Right now I’m loving a simple jeans and sweater combination with it.
Jeans-wise (is that a word?) I’m definitely seeing the classic dark washed skinny jeans as the most important wardrobe staple. In these days I’m looking for a more relaxed fit that is equally as classic in my opinion. Both the Trench and the Jeans are from one of my favorite brands Jack Wills. They offer a wide range of classic pieces that can be combined in so many ways.
Another item I intend to invest in a lot in the future is the ballet flat. For Spring and Summer I love my new pair of Ferragamo Varas in this lovely light color. Next on my wishlist there can not be a more perfect one than the classic Chanel ballerina.
