Getting into Spring mode, I love nautical inspired outfits. Give me all the blue shades, seersucker, gingham, stripes and buttons. The stand out piece for this look is this pair of cropped sailor jeans with the buttons that totally give the whole outfit that nautical feeling. Paired with the flared off the shoulder gingham top it makes a fun look that I was happy to wear all day. I need to admit that this shockingly is my first off the shoulder top. I know I’m very late to the bandwagon, but I absolutely adore it. There is something about it that makes you feel extremely feminine and special. Plus it’s gingham and who can resist that print?
While experiencing how excited I get about the current Spring fashion and the lovely weather, I can’t help but dreaming more and more about the Southern States and especially the Charleston area. It also seems like all of my favorite American bloggers are taking trips to Charleston right now and since it’s my dream of many many years to travel there (and secretly to move there), I’m melting in enviousness and aspiration. But I know that Berlin is definitely not my last station and that there are still so many places I will be living in the future.
For now this cute little street with the pastel colored fronts (and especially the pink one) reminded me just a teeny bit of the architecture in Charleston. It was the perfect place to shoot that day and transported me a little more into my dream.
If you’re from the States I would love to know more about your life or if you’ve already travelled through the South it would be great to get your recommendations. Please share everything you know in the comments.
