As you all know by now I’m a girl for the classics. That’s not different for Holiday outfits. Classic red, black, green and gold is my color scheme for the lovely season starting now. I will definitely wear this outfit for an upcoming Christmas party. This stand out red elegant blouse with classic black accessories just don’t need much more. But this post isn’t only about this Holiday look, it’s also the premier of my new present to myself: the Mansur Gavriel Elegant bag, I already showed on my Instagram account @magnoliacharles. Also I wanted to let you know about the opening of my Shop page in the top bar. I’m starting this page with Christmas gift ideas for the preppy classic girl, you really have to check out for that special girl in your life. There will be no more different gift guides since I want to stay in my niche, but I will slowly add up this page with classic winter style shopping inspiration and so much more.
The Mansur Gavriel Elegant bag was actually love at first sight. I was already saving up for the next big purchase but haven’t had a bag in my mind. Then I saw these darling on many blogs in the blush color and fell in love. When I searched for it in the black color it was clear that it needed to be mine. The kind of vintage design with the clasp and just one handle is so special and timeless. It fits my style perfectly and is just 100% me. I’m more than happy with it. Unfortunately I couldn’t find it in any of the big European shops in the black color so I needed to order it out of the US at a shop called La Garconne, but it was here very quickly and I didn’t need to pay any shipping costs.
In the past I was quite self conscious about wearing red with my copper hair. I think especially since I’m not born with red hair and sometimes still plan outfits in my head with blond hair. But I love my copper hair color as much as to wear the color red, more than ever at Holiday season. It’s more about finding the right shade of red it will kind of work out. I definitely don’t want to live without wearing red in the future so I will just do it. I know there are so many different opinions on this out there. What do you think?
Now to my own version of the many Holiday guides out there. They are actually fantastic so I don’t need to put out my personal versions of the mum, dad, boyfriend, traveller, hosting girl and so on guides. But since I’m concentrating on classic feminine and preppy style, I definitely wanted to do an inspirational overview of Christmas shopping ideas for a girl you know, who lives that style (or maybe for yourself?). I will update the gift guide in the next weeks, so be sure to always come back to see more. Please click under the “Shop” tab in the top bar to see all gifts or on the “promo box” under the slider I just added to the blog.
Here are my absolute favorites I would love to see under the tree myself:
Thank you for following along and I would always love to get your precious feedback since I’m a total newbie blogger.
Happy official start of Christmas season. Finally!
