His and Hers Holiday Looks

Festive Dressing

It’s the official time to kick off the Christmas season and I’m planning a lot of more put together feminine and elegant looks for the upcoming weeks. I’m practically in the Christmas mood since the beginning of November and right now I could squeal of excitement for the fun month ahead of us. This weekend I already watched some Christmas movies, played the Michael Buble Christmas playlist up and down and planned for some winter activities that I’m keen to do this season. But not only do I look forward to Christmas lights, food and atmosphere, I’m also more than keen to dress up and wear all the pretty dresses and coats.

For this first holiday inspired post I talked Julian into modelling for this photos with me. However, for us these pictures are much more than a blog post. We will definitely print some of them out and put them into our home. It’s making me so happy to have beautiful pictures of the two of us that will remind us of special times and feelings. At some point we even didn’t recognize the camera anymore and I think you can really see the love we are sharing for each other in this photos.

Both of us have quite the classic style and we genuinely like the same things when it comes to fashion. For this holiday looks I ordered clothes for him and me and decided to go for a midnight blue theme. This is Julian’s favorite color to wear and fits my red hair very well. And I did well, since he especially loved the Ted Baker coat he is wearing in this pictures. For me it was love at first sight with this elegant blue velvet Whistles dress. The cut is very flattering, the unexpected cut out at the back is gorgeous and  it feels very special on your skin.

For this shoot I also borrowed the Saint Laurent clutch from my friend and now all I can think of is investing in a similar style. It’s such a perfect classic piece not only for chic looks for the holiday season, but seriously for every occasion. Right now I’m eyeing up this wallet on chain, because I love the small size and the shoulder strap.

What do you think of our his and hers holiday looks? I think they’re perfect for every upcoming occasion. Not too much over the top, but very special elegant outfits that you’ll feel great in. I can’t wait to share more looks in the next weeks.

Happy start of the Christmas season!
