The perfect fashionable winter jacket
Since the beginning of winter I was looking for a beautiful feminine faux fur jacket of great quality. They're such a chic fashionable piece that will instantly make every simple outfit look put together. Also I experienced from my faux fur leopard coat that they're in fact incredibly warm. I've had this one from Reiss in my mind since some time and actually have hoped to find it in London on Sale. We haven't had time for a lot of shopping and when we just wanted to leave Regent Street to head somewhere else, we passed the Reiss store and I saw some light grey faux fur in the shop window in the corner of my eye. I went in put the coat on and two minutes later it was mine and we were out of the store. I think I've never purchased a jacket that quickly. But that's when you know it's good, when you don't even have to make pros and cons (and maybe a little bit panic shopping was involved). Of course the price tag was an argument as well since it was indeed on Sale. Unfortunately it's sold out now, but Reiss will come up with similar faux fur coat styles every year and I can definitely recommend them since the quality is very good.
Seriously I don't understand how people can even think of wearing real fur? Even if there weren't such good faux fur alternatives we do have enough gorgeous coat and jacket designs without any fur. In these days we don't need any real fur at all anymore. The faux fur is of such a great quality and in my eyes looks even better and feels incredibly soft. As I said before in my experience all of my faux fur pieces hold extremely warm as well. I've never purchased and never will purchase anything real fur and will forever openly discuss my opinion.
The jacket is incredibly versatile and will fit a lot of outfit combinations. For a more casual outfit I love to pair it with jeans and boots and especially with white jeans and some cute loafers. Since it's such a pastel grey it will look great with light colors. But I love the contrast of it against black as well. As I told you a lot of times I'm not the biggest fan of black or dark colored looks. But this jacket instantly makes this whole look more light, fashionable and fun. In this outfit you can see all of my favorite winter pieces in one look. One more addition from London is the softest grey cashmere sweater from J.Crew that already is one of my most worn pieces. The same with this very chic but comfortable smoking pants with the satin stripes that were a gift I received from my parents for Christmas. Those classic simple pieces are what you really need in your closet.
