Feminine Winter Style

It's no secret that my favorite way to dress is in a very feminine way. And it's definitely no secret that it's not easy at all during the cold winter months. No light and flowy dresses or cute ballerinas or slippers can be worn with these temperatures. Of course you really need to bundle up in lined boots, chunky knits and uber warm jackets when we get to the point of bitter coldness, but there are some days were it's acceptable to wear a little bit less and maybe freeze just a little bit. If you're not a fan of tights I can not recommend over knee boots enough. This Stuart Weitzman Lowland ones have already been my best investment this winter. And if you're wearing a well made fitted wool coat that will keep you warm, but still looks put together, you'll have the perfect essentials for your feminine winter look.

Grey Faux Fur Coat

Since the beginning of winter I was looking for a beautiful feminine faux fur jacket of great quality. They're such a chic fashionable piece that will instantly make every simple outfit look put together. Also I experienced from my faux fur leopard coat that they're in fact incredibly warm. I've had this one from Reiss in my mind since some time and actually have hoped to find it in London on Sale. We haven't had time for a lot of shopping and when we just wanted to leave Regent Street to head somewhere else, we passed the Reiss store and I saw some light grey faux fur in the shop window in the corner of my eye. I went in put the coat on and two minutes later it was mine and we were out of the store.

Everyday Leopard Coat

I already own this fake fur leopard coat for a few years and I'll see a version of it every year again. That just shows how timeless and classic a coat like this is. You can definitely bring it out every season again and it will never go out of style. The best thing is, it will spruce up your everyday look that is simple as it is, but with the leopard coat really stands out.

Winter Whites

For those who know me, it’s no surprise that I actually wear light colors and pastels 90% of the time. Of course in winter it’s mostly more practicable to wear black and for some elegant classic looks I love to wear it, but the majority of days I gravitate to light colors. Even though writing this after showing a full black look in my last post kind of doesn’t make sense, I really do feel instantly more moody when I wear a full black look and more happy and light in pastels. So why not throwing a full look of white and cream shades together that is also really appropriate for the winter time? I also did this in this post last winter, but this winter look is even more bright.
